i have a soon to be 17 year old daughter and a 24 year old daughter….they both just finished serving on a girl’s Chrysalis flight….(there is a 19 year old son in between) E ~ the younger ~ also sponsored a girl on the flight. S~ the older ~ was the music leader. it was good to see my girls…our girls serving for Chrysalis. it is hard not to be at the camp for the weekend…but then to watch them serving as they did… God is amazing . and i wondered…i am hopeful that sam and i have modeled for the children some form of servanthood. i am praying the Holy Spirit will continue to use all of us as He sees fit…and that maybe i will get to watch them some more be the amazing Daughters of the High King that they are….

dear one….it is part of the Walk To Emmaus…..go to http://www.upperroom.org/emmaus and click on information as well as the Chrysalis link. it is a 72 hour weekend…..known as a short course in Christianity. it is about hearing about Christ, love, mercy, and quiet moments as well as communion, time alone with God ……72 hours of being cared for in a way you can’t imagine. Chrysalis is the youth version of the Walk to Emmaus. there is also a ministry called Kairos (Emmaus for adults in prison) and Epiphany (Chrysalis for youth in prison). we have sponsored many adults and youth for this ministry, as well as served on weekends on team. the girls were serving on team on this past flight. it is such a blessing to serve…..i know Emmaus is in England…..you should find a community.
